Everyone at BYUH has abandoned ship for summer so we have like 1/2 the ammount of students that we usually do. It's sort of lonesome! But that's ok, I am just fine rooming by myself for the moment! Figured out that buying a gallon of icecream actually costs less than a gallon of milk. I think I'll take that trade!
Here's a fun new game I learned how to play! It's called the paper bag game!
1. You take a paper lunch sack and open it up and sit it on the ground, opening up.
2. Everyone takes a turn trying to grab the bag in their mouths, but the only thing that can touch the ground is the bottoms of your feet, and you can only use your mouth to retrieve the bag. Needless to say, you need to be a little flexible.
3. So after you pick up the bag, you tear off the piece that you bit (no swappin spit) and replace the bag for the next player
4. After everyone takes a turn, tear off the first layer all the way around the bag under where everyone ripped, so the bag is about 1-2 inches shorter.
5. Round two starts, and the game continues like that and eliminates people who cannot reach the bag.
6. Eventually you get the bag down to barely anything, and the last person who can reach it wins.
This game got a little intesnse though. The girls got eliminated about half way through, so the boys went on for the battle to the death (we were down to 2 contestants). Eventually the bag was down to just the flat paper on the bottom, and both of them could still reach it. So, we had to find some way to put the bag lower than the ground. So, they each tried to get it while the bag was in the gutter, and they were standing on the curb. Suprisingly, someone won. Pretty fun game. Great for family night.
Also, learned the joys of sand boarding. (Jumping on a boogie board while going down a sand hill) That was memorial day fun!
Wednesday was my last final, and I actually talked my professor into raising my grade from a c to a b. I was definitley in the right though... It could also have been that I annoyed her so much, she decided that changing it would be better than arguing anymore! Not my usual practice, but effective!
So, that's whats been going on with me! I feel like blogs are sometimes comepletley self centered... Always about "I" or "me" and stuff... Oh well!
Love to most, like to the rest!
